SYSTIMAX Solutions to host conference on 'Powering the New Speed of Business'

The half-day seminar entitled, "Powering the New Speed of Business" will take place at the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai on 19th September 2006, with the emphasis placed on the importance of network performance to business. SYSTIMAX Solutions' experts will deliver a series of in-depth presentations ranging from what technology can offer businesses today, through to real time infrastructure management.

In another key session Craig Doyle, Major Accounts Manager, will guide delegates through the latest Ethernet next generation total solutions and why organisations shouldn't dismiss 10Gbps to the desktop in the future.

Three detailed technical presentations will then follow, Dave Tanis, Technical Director, EMEA will talk about enhancing the capability of networks through the additional bandwidth and geometry offered by the latest fibre optic technology and Wes Tweedley, Regional Technical Manager, will deliver a highly practical session on the recommendations and guidelines for designing data centres, including facility planning, building control services, cabling systems and network design.

Charles le Mahieu, Senior Technologist, Intelligent Infrastructure, will address delegates and explain how to move the management of the complete infrastructure into real-time and onto the IT manager's desk, taking control of the physical layer to provide a more secure and efficient service.

Finally, during a special presentation Anas Sawaf, Business Development Manager at CISCO, will explain how the innovative deployment of converged technologies can create a new experience for customers. Delegates will also learn how to value-add through the delivery of services in ways that highlight their customers' USPs and also enable them to compete on different market levels.
