Etihad Airways sponsors ADIHEX 2006

Being held at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre (ADIEC), ADIHEX is one of the most popular celebrations of Arabian culture, and as the official airline, Etihad will bring many of the international visitors to the event.

said Dr. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saif Al Nahyan, chairman, Etihad Airways.

More than 60,000 visitors are expected to attend ADIHEX 2006, with exhibitors coming from more than 30 countries including the UK, Germany, South Africa, Tanzania, Sweden, and the USA.

The exhibition is one of the most popular events to take place in the UAE, with a large number of VIPs, diplomats, and hunting and equestrian enthusiasts flying with Etihad to the UAE's capital between 11 and 15 September.

Etihad Airways, twice voted the world's leading new airline, is expanding its global flight network at an exceptional pace.

In the first six months of 2006 the Abu Dhabi-based airline has opened new routes to Casablanca, Doha, Jakarta, Jeddah, Islamabad, Khartoum, Kuwait City, Lahore, Manchester, Manila, Muscat and Peshawar.
