His speech comes as a part of an annual orientation program the College conducts for all new students.

HE emphasized the significance of education to all UAE nationals and encouraged students to appreciate the valuable opportunity they have today compared to millions of unfortunate people around the globe who do not have access to education. "I would like to congratulate all of you on this opportunity which will make a difference in your lives," he noted.

HE Alabbar believes education is more important today than ever before especially for young Emirati women. "The best way for our nation to excel and join the rest of the world in its progressive development is to educate our women," he said. "You are responsible for raising our future generations and we depend on you to do a good job," he added.

DWC's new students listened to Alabar's views on Emiratization where he discussed the challenges they face in today's local and world markets. "Hard work is the key to success. You need to be not only qualified, but also highly qualified if you intend to succeed," he said. HE answered several questions of DWC's new students concerning approaches to success, starting a new business, and Emiratization concerns.

HE addressed DWC's new students at the College's new auditorium which is now open to the public. The campus at DWC is introducing other new facilities available to students this year which include a new fitness center and a wellness center. The College has also added a new students' center to its new facilities where several businesses will be run by DWC students.
