Quality assurance presentation for DTCM employees

Employees of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) were provided insights the latest Quality trends and techniques about at a presentation by the DTCM Quality Assurance Manager, Mr. Mohammed Al Mutawa, at the DTCM Head Office recently.
Mr. Al Mutawa said, "The objective of the presentation was to build the sprit of challenge between the participants, build self confidants, and identify the limitations of applying personal objectives, explanation of how to start to build future goal and the Challenges of Change.'
Quality Assurance is responsible for coordinating and championing the development, implementation and improvement of the effectiveness of the Quality Management System in DTCM, thus ensuring continual improvement in order to enhance customer satisfaction by meeting and exceeding customer requirements.
The Quality Management System of the DTCM has been approved for the ISO 9001:2000 and is applicable to the promotion of tourism and commerce marketing, licensing and classification of hotels and hotel apartments, promotion of tourism facilities and activities, management of historical sites in the emirate of Dubai and the design and delivery of tourism and hospitality training courses.
The certification, originally approved in June 2000, has been revalidated until June 2009 after a review in July 2006.
