Damas adds new designs to 'Boudoor' trilogy Diamond collection
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, September 11 - 2006 at 13:49
- PRESS RELEASE
Damas has introduced new striking designs to Boudoor, its popular diamond trilogy collection inspired by the different phases of the moon.
"The moon and its changing phases have always inspired artistic thoughts and our designers have tried to capture its splendour in the brilliance of Boudoor. The new designs are very feminine and elegant and are a tribute to the modern woman's spirit, success, and radiance," said Tamjid Abdullah, deputy managing director of Damas and an award winning design master in his own right.
Boudoor is the plural of the Arabic word 'Bader', which in English means full moon. Often, 'Bader' is used to praise a woman's looks, to describe her as the 'ultimate beauty'.
Representing the three phases of the moon, the three stones in 'Boudoor' signify commitment in a relationship, indicating the past, present and future. It evokes emotions of love in the heart of a man, it's almost as if he is telling the woman he loves: 'I loved you the first time I met you, I love you today and I will love you forever.'
All Boudoor designs are radiant and captivating, like the woman who wears it. The new collection consists of rings, earrings and pendants and has a total of 15 designs inspired by the different phases and tides of the moon.
Available from all Damas Les Exclusives shops.
