Maaden signs gold transport deal

The Saudi Arabian Mining Company has signed privately-owned Saudi Canadian Mining Services to transport its gold ore, according to Arab News. Under the terms of the agreement, SCMS will deliver 50,000 tons per month of ore from Maaden's Bulgah mine to Sukhaibayrat. The Bulgah facility produces 40,000 ounces out of Maaden's total output of 245,000 ounces per year of gold.
