Public Telecommunications Corporation (PTC), Yemen signs new agreement with Mitel to provide IP communication solutions

'PTC has had a long-standing relationship with Mitel for the last 30 years distributing the Mitel SX-200. The new agreement will provide state-of-the-art IP communication solutions to customers to provide flexibility, cost-savings and improve business processes and customer service,' said Mr. Kamal Hussein Al-Jebry, Director General. PTC.

'We are now moving forward with plans to migrate our customer TDM base to IP and the Mitel solution facilitates seamless migration enabling customers to retain their existing equipment.'

PTC will market Mitel's broad range of IP Communications Platforms including the Mitel 3300 IP Communications Platform (ICP) that scales from 10 to 65,000 users in a single network configuration, which will be installed at various government institutions across the country. PTC will also be provided with Mitel's portfolio of innovative applications for: contact centers, mobility, teleworking, speech-unified messaging, messaging, collaboration, presence, video conferencing and wireless communications.
