Shariah derivates plan

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association and the International Islamic Financial Market will together develop a master agreement for documenting privately negotiated Shariah-compliant derivatives transactions. It is hoped an agreement will be become a standard document for such transactions in GCC countries. A limited range of available Islamic investment instruments has held back the development of Islamic financial markets.
