We also understand that the leading tourism trade fair is vital for organizations within UAE's growing tourism sector. With Sharjah already witnessing more than 100,000 Russian tourists in the first half of this year 2006, we look forward to seeing more tourists visit sharjah through our participation."

He added: "Our continued involvement in the event stems from our strong belief in the growth potential of the travel and tourism industry. Last year, more than 967 participants represented 67 countries and the exhibition attracted around 58,500 visitors. These statistics clearly indicate its importance and imply the need for our participation. We will rapidly showcase Sharjah's booming tourism sector through such international exhibitions, which position and portray Sharjah as an attractive, traditional tourist destination."
