Dubai Aluminium Company receives ISO27001:2005 from British Standards Institution (BSI) Management System

The ISO27001:2005 is accepted world-wide as the security framework standard that has a process based approach to Establish, Implement and Monitor an Information Security Management System. It aims to reduce the Information Security related business risks and gives the needed assurance to all the stakeholders on the applicable security controls in order to counter the various threats to the information.

Mr. Abdulla Kalban, CEO, DUBAL said,

This achievement is in-line with the 'continuous improvement' culture of the organization. DUBAL's multi-billion-dollar, state-of-the-art smelter complex comprises a 761,000 MT primary aluminium smelter, a 1,750 megawatt power station, a large carbon plant, three casthouses, a 30-million-gallon-per-day desalination plant, laboratories and research facilities, port and storage facilities, maintenance areas, and associated administration buildings.
