The new corporate identity was created by "Client Advertising" to reflect the stamp of quality that Dubai always excels in and further strengthens DQG's status as an organization that strives for corporate excellence.
This is part of DQG's continuing quest for excellence and its strategy to meet the additional requirements warranted by the changing ground realities as Dubai and the UAE are beginning to play larger role in the international business world.
Mr. Abdulqader Obaid Ali, Chairman of DQG, said:
"Our new corporate identity will reflect the changing nature of Dubai, the increasingly important role the emirate has come to play in international business and a fast-changing knowledge-based community that seeks top quality services."
"DQG simplifies the importance of quality in a society that has a deep rooted business foundation both ethically & culturally," said Mr. Obaid Ali
The new identity is just another manifestation of what DQG always believes in - management excellence - and the Group will continue to focus on bringing international best standards and practices to the UAE, said Mr. Obaid Ali.
DQG has lately activated some of is existing subgroups and established a few more. "DQG currently has nine active subgroups. They are: Professional woman subgroup, HR Subgroup, IT Subgroup, Performance Management Subgroup, Benchmarking, Education Subgroup, Banking & Finance, Ideas Arabia Subgroup, and Strategy in Action Subgroup," Mr. Obaid Ali announced.
"DQG is planning to bring a number of international events & conferences to Dubai for the first time. These include the International Management Film Festival (IMFF) which will take place on November 15, 2006, the World HRD Congress scheduled for November 2007 and many more," remarked Mr. Obaid Ali.
The success of Dubai's business community could be attributed to the initiatives launched by DQG to create a wider understanding of the latest techniques in the corporate world. "We would like to thank DQG's Investor partner Al Fajr Properties for their support during the re-launch process," he added.
"By creating an opportunity for local businesses to interact with such professionals, DQG has helped immensely in bridging the information gap. The Group's efforts are commendable in this regard," observed Mr. Obaid Ali.
Ms. Samia Al Yousif, DQG's Manger, said: "Quality is a journey, not a destination and today DQG is advancing towards the future of quality in the Middle East."
"DQG focuses its activities on the creative and constructive side of businesses so that members can come together for a fruitful exchange of new management techniques," said Ms. Al Yousif. "This exchange of knowledge among the business community has helped lay the foundations for creating better corporate awareness since DQG's inception in 1994," she added.
Since inception in February 1994, the DQG has grown to include more than 2,000 individuals representing over 330 prominent organisations from both the private and public sectors. The Group organises activities aimed at developing the professional and managerial expertise of individuals.
