Arig's 'Workshop on Reinsurance' concludes

The five-day workshop which commenced at Arig House on 10th September covered the principles and practices in the reinsurance industry. Senior Managers from Arig presented on topics covering Reinsurance theory and practice, Underwriting, Risk Management, Claims and Accounting. Eleven participants representing the regional markets like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Ethiopia and Pakistan besides Bahrain's market attended the workshop.

Currently, the region's (re)insurance sector is witnessing dynamic growth. Availability of skilled and trained human resources is therefore a key requirement for the industry's success.
