Suez re-opens after sinking

The Suez Canal has now re-opened to very large vessels following the sinking of a dredger on Wednesday which claimed the lives of three crew members, with a fourth still missing, reported the Gulf Times. The sinking briefly closed the canal's eastern channel and ten large vessels had to be turned way, as they were too big to negotiate the western channel, opened as a result of the incident.
