Oman's Motor Show 2006 to flag off on September 20

An impressive collection of new car models will be on display with the participation of the sultanate's major car dealers including Al Rumaila Motors, Arabian Car Marketing Co. LLC, Moosa Abdul Rahman Hassan & Co. LLC, Reliable International Automotive, Saud Bahwan Automotive LLC, European Motors LLC, and Zubair Automotive.

"This year's Motor Show is shaping up to be the biggest ever, and the strong presence of Oman's leading car dealers clearly reflects the importance of the event for the sultanate's flourishing auto industry" said C.J. Paul, general manager of Omanexpo LLC, the company organising the event since 1990.

Paul pointed out that Motor Show 2006 will present the latest models of globally known automotive brands such as Citroen, Daihatsu, Ford, Kia, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, and Toyota. The four-day exhibition, which will run until September 23, will also feature vehicles manufactured by Tata Motors of India, China Motors Corporation, the Great Wall Motor Company Ltd., and Jiangling Motors.

Consistent with its goal of serving as a one-stop shop for car buyers and motoring enthusiasts, the exhibition will likewise showcase a wide range of auto parts and accessories as well as various services for car owners. Specifically, visitors will see a large selection of automotive paints, entertainment systems, car care products, automotive tyres, heat-control films, auto insurance, and car financing options.
