Dubai, $82bn on aviation

Sheikh Ahmad bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and CEO of the Emirates Group, has said that Dubai is investing around $81.7bn in the aviation sector within the next decade. Speaking at the 12th World Route Development Forum in Dubai, he highlighted the expansion of Dubai International Airport, the $32.7bn Dubai World Central project and the recently launched $15bn Dubai Aerospace Enterprise.
