Unilever Middle East strengthens Media Team

Unilever Middle East today announced various new appointments in its Media Department with effect from first October 2006.
Mark Butterfield, formerly Commercial Director of a reputable media company in the Middle East, will be joining Unilever as Media Director - North Africa and Middle East (NAMET) with effect from first October 2006. Mark will head Media Buying for Unilever NAMET and will be based in Unilever House Dubai.
Inger Hedin, currently Unilever Nordic Communication Channel Manager is appointed as Media Director, Unilever Middle East with effect from first October 2006.Inger will be responsible for strategically overseeing Media Services and Media Buying for Unilever Middle East and will also be based in Unilever House Dubai. Inger, from Sweden, brings more than 30 years of Unilever marketing and media experience.
Chris Saldanha, Media Director, Unilever Arabia will continue in his role of overseeing Strategic Planning for Arabia leading the in-house Media Team while leveraging best practices & synergies across the region. In addition, Chris will be responsible for the Print Buying function in Arabia.
