Mall Walkers is managed by Stride for Life, an already established aerobic walking and running programme in Dubai focusing on moderate exercise training with healthy positive results. Fuad Sharaf, General Manager Mall of the Emirates said: "The mall is the perfect venue for someone who wants or needs to start an exercise programme. While the mall is home to over 400 international brands, it is equally famous for its leisure offering, the corner stone of which is Ski Dubai. Mall Walkers adds a new novel leisure activity to the mall. It is an opportunity for participants from the community to improve their fitness in a comfortable temperature controlled environment".

"Everyone can join Mall Walkers - it is free and we expect Saturday, Monday and Wednesday mornings to become part of many of our customers' regular exercise routine. Mall Walkers meet at 8:30am at the customer service desk near Gulf Greetings on the first level. The mall is measured out in one kilometer circuits."

Stride for Life offers a motivational approach to health and fitness through moderate exercise. Fitness programmes are tailored to suit individual lifestyles and are scientifically proven. The company was setup in Dubai in April 2005.

Deborah Dixon, founder of Stride for Life said; "Our philosophy is that anyone can take part in and enjoy regular exercise, if they know how to find their correct pace and progress gradually. Too many people start out doing too much too soon and quickly become disillusioned. Not only will mall walkers see and feel results in themselves, we will also keep track of their mileage covered so they can see just how far they have come, literally!

To participate in this free fitness programme, meet at Mall of the Emirates, 8:30am on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday mornings at the customer service desk near Gulf Greetings on the first level. Use parking area T-Z (green level). Proper running shoes are compulsory.
