More aid pours in for the people of Lebanon

Sharjah Charity International has received an unprecedented donation of funds from the Sharjah International Airport.
Presenting the donation on behalf of the Sharjah International Airport was Mr. Ali Salem Al Midfa, Director Sharjah Airport Authority, who said, "We at the Sharjah International Airport are happy to assist Sharjah Charity International with their efforts to bring relief and aide to the people of Lebanon in need."
Sharjah Charity International is a Sharjah-UAE based humanitarian organization which aids people and communities in need, inside and outside, the UAE. Headquartered in Sharjah, the organization has numerous branches and ties with foreign assistance groups and charities in the region.
Participating in this campaign to collect funds and help support the people of Lebanon were all levels of management in the airport, staff and even passengers flying through the Sharjah International Airport. Collection boxes were placed in both arrival and departure terminals and it was encouraging to see the collected response from the passengers.
Mr. Saleh Eid, In charge of Internal Charity aid & campaigns, Sharjah Charity International received the donation.
He added, "Sharjah Charity International welcomes the contribution made by the Sharjah International Airport as it will help aide us in our efforts in Lebanon."
