Egypt Invest 2006, 4th International Investment & Trade Conference for Egypt

These new policies and opportunities managed to attract influential companies to invest in Egyptian industries. Etisalat (the Emirates mobile company that won the bid for the third mobile license) is putting EGP16.7 billion which will be deposited at the Central Bank of Egypt. Such a transaction will encourage other investors to pump their money in Egypt and provide sufficient financial liquidity for financing all its projects in the Egyptian as well as other regional markets. This is proof that Egypt is moving towards the right direction of attracting more FDI.

As ongoing assistance in this task International Event Partners (IEP) is again addressing the critical areas and bringing potential companies to Egypt through the annual Egypt Invest 2006.

Now in its 4th year this acclaimed International Investment & Trade Conference for Egypt, will again be taking place in Intercontinental, CityStars, Cairo on the 1st & 2nd November 2006; fully supported by The Egyptian Ministry of Investment. Egypt Invest has been gaining tremendous success that since 2003, especially with hosting HRH The Duke of York, the UK's Special Representative for Trade and Investment, who spoke in the inaugural session with Egypt's Premier, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif.

Dr. Hani Sarie Eldin stated that "Egypt invest 2005 was a great opportunity to share and discuss ideas and views on the challenges facing the investment industry and a mean to find the best way to formulate the business/investment strategy for Egypt...It was characterized by lively participation in discussions and ample opportunities to find prospective business partners. It also enabled investors and venture capitalists to get the opportunity to meet the government officials and leading businessmen to discuss the expected challenges and opportunities and work for removing the obstacles that face the investment climate in Egypt"

And he predicted that this year will achieve more success; "I can see that Egypt Invest is an annual forum for discussing the measures required for attracting investment, facilitating export trade and help improve the overall Economy of Egypt".

The Investment Village

Egypt Invest 2006 will have an associated exhibition themed "The Investment Village". The exhibition will feature recent projects and investment opportunities in Egypt, which will embrace private companies and governmental institutions alike.
