DUBAL to participate in Aluminium 2006 World Trade Fair & Conference in Essen, Germany

"Through our participation in the ALUMINIUM 2006 event, we plan to further strengthen our already existing strong market presence and explore ways to expand to other European economies, said Mr. Sultan Al Sabri, Senior Manager, Marketing & Sales, Asia, North America DUBAL.

This year alone, DUBAL expects to supply 185,000mt of aluminium to Europe, which represents 20% of the company's total production. The company's significant business activities in Europe now span more than a decade, and DUBAL is currently considered to be one of the world's leading players.

"DUBAL's participation aims to showcase to the world the UAE and Dubai's world class industry. This reflects the strategic outlook of the UAE and Dubai and positions us as an ideal hub for international business and trading activities. Also our other major aim is to use the event to strengthen DUBAL's relationship with existing clients, and to build new relationships with potential ones. The ALUMINIUM 2006 is the perfect environment to gauge this type of European business interest," Mr. Al Sabri said.

Every two years, international experts converge on Essen, Germany, for three days for this prestigious event. This year about 13.500 professionals are expected to visit. They will be looking for innovative solutions and the latest technological developments related to all aspects of aluminium. More than 600 exhibitors are expected to come from 37 countries to present their products and services at the sixth ALUMINIUM 2006, World Trade Fair & Conference.

"The exhibition will also provide an opportunity to get to know internationally recognized new technology advances in aluminium production. It is also an opportunity for DUBAL to interact with our counterparts.
