DCCI receives CNBM

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) yesterday received the mission of China National Building Material Group Corporation (CNBM) headed by Dr. Song Zhiping, Chairman of Board of Directors.
Also attending at the meeting were Ma Jianguo, CNBM Vice President and a number of CEOs and Directors of Chinese building materials companies, as well as CEOs, Directors and representatives for the DCCI members of building materials companies.
"With regards to the building boom that the UAE in general and Dubai in particular is witnessing, your visit comes at the right time to contribute to this unique rise through offering high quality yet cost effective products that can compete with other products of high quality and reasonable prices from different countries of origin available in the market," said Nasib.
He further stressed the DCCI's commitment to help expand, bolster and diversify trade and economic relations between Dubai and the People's Republic of China.
Saeed Khalfan, President of the Construction Business Group, operating under the umbrella of DCCI, also welcomed the visiting mission expressing his aspiration that the meeting would result in building prospective relations between Dubai and the People's Republic of China.
Patel Mahendra, Chairman of Building Materials Trading Business Group operating under the DCCI umbrella said that Dubai is not a consuming market only, but also constitutes an attraction point for many companies, businessmen and investors from all over the world thanks to its strategic location as a trade center and economic base conjugating many promising markets in the region.
The meeting also discussed the trade and economic relations history between Dubai and the People's Republic of China and the significant stages they went through over the years, in addition to the plans of expanding and developing them.
Dr. Song Zhiping, Chairman of CNBM Board of Directors expressed his gratitude to the DCCI for providing the opportunity to meet the business community in Dubai, particularly the construction and building materials trading business groups operating under the DCCI umbrella.
"When I had first landed in Dubai and saw the construction and building works in full swing, I immediately recalled the Chinese city of Shanghai and the construction rise it witnessed several decades ago, and Dubai is undoubtedly considered an example of the construction and tourism development thanks to the schemes submitted in this aspect, and we as a building materials specializing corporation will exert high efforts to contribute to the construction rise in Dubai," said Zhiping.
