Dubai Institute for Human Resource Development conducts "Continuous Learning Team" project

Dubai Institute for Human Resources Development (DIHRD) today launched the first session of the one-year "Continuous Learning Team" programme with the aim of developing a consistent learning culture in government organizations.
The programme will include the participation of four teams comprising professionals in Dubai government departments. Headed by a team leader, the teams will share experiences and case studies in order to identify and determine best methods and practices.
Mohammad Jasim, CEO, DIHRD said, "Education is a lifelong pursuit and continuous learning helps employees deliver quality services to clients. The project also aims to create a platform for benchmarking efficiency in government departments."
He also outlined DIHRD's role in supervising the teams, assisting in the preparation of meetings, while documenting the singular achievements of team members.
"Semi-governmental departments and consultants with expertise in the private sector will be invited to participate in the programme alongside government representatives to provide varied perspectives."
Jassim said the project's success was crucial due to its pivotal role in reinforcing best practices, establishing strategic partnerships among Dubai government departments, implementing benchmarking concepts and best processes within all departments, and enhancing the quality of service provided to staff and customers.
Monthly team meetings will be conducted throughout the year under the supervision of Dubai Institute for Human Resources Development.

Dubai Institute for Human Resources Development was established in 2003, under the instructions of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President Prime minister and Ruler of Dubai.DIHRD is a governmental institution focusing on continuous learning and development.
