"The EMP-6100 is an advanced business projector that can fit seamlessly into a variety of environments from the boardroom to clubs and factories. It provides an appealing choice for businesses of all sizes and displays the premium quality images that our customers have come to expect from Epson's 3LCD projectors."
The EMP-6100 combines easy maintenance, enhanced network monitoring, dust protection and a high brightness of 3500 ANSI lumens. It is easy to install and the 1.6 times optical zoom ratio allows a large projection to be achieved even in a smaller space. A 60-inch screen can be projected from a distance of only 1.8 metres with the EMP-6100.
The projector can also be easily maintained with the new preventative maintenance system that features Epson's Easy MP network monitoring technology. This eliminates the expense, inconvenience and time previously spent solving any problems after they occur.
The system is accessed via a remote networked computer and can alert a customer in advance about any potential maintenance that may be required. It can also be accessed from a web browser or set-up email alerts. It will tell users about the temperature status and when the air filter or projector lamp needs to be changed.
With the EMP-6100, required changes are easy and quick to perform. The filter and lamp can be replaced, even when ceiling mounted, by simply accessing their covers on the side and on top of the projector respectively. No tools, expertise or special equipment are required.
For businesses operating in a dusty or smoky environment such as factories or clubs, Epson has incorporated a new electrostatic filter, which protects the projector against trapped small dust or smoke particles. As a result images remain bright and vibrant in the most demanding of environments. The filter also ensures that only clean air is passed through the projector to keep it cool.
Anti-theft features make the EMP-6100 an appealing installation projector for environments where security may be a priority. A metal security bar provides an attachment point for securing the projector to the ceiling. The projector also requires a pin code to start-up so that only authorised users are able to operate the device.
"The EMP-6100 is the result of significant consumer research undertaken by Epson before designing the projector. Customers wanted an installation projector that afforded reliability, hassle-free maintenance, dust and smoke protection and good networking capability. The EMP-6100 satisfies on all counts and offers a superior, advanced and flexible solution to businesses in the region," El-Dalu concluded.
