GCC wants unified trademarks

The GCC General Secretariat is working on a unified law for the registration of trademarks, and plans to open a regional office for registration of trademarks from member states, Gulf News reported. The initiative would help GCC states work together to protect intellectual property rights, the secretariat said. Saudi Arabia is in the process of introducing a trademarks law.
