- PRESS RELEASE
Professor Hisham Ghassib President of the Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), recently met with newly enrolled students for the academic year of 2006/ 2007 The number of newly enrolled students at PSUT had increased this year by 100 per cent in comparison to figures recorded for previous years.
Professor Ghassib added that the 100% increase in the number of students enrolling at PSUT is a direct result of the great achievements that the university has made over the past few years. Now the educational options open to students studying at PSUT are a lot more than they were before, for the university recently started offering educational programs in three new majors including Computer Graphics and Animation, Management Information Systems, and Communications Engineering.
PSUT also established its reputation as a haven for learning through the impressive results that its graduates obtained in the National Universities Efficiency Exams. In these exams PSUT's graduates scored the highest amongst their peers from other universities in Jordan in the fields of Computer Science and Computer Engineering. Such factors and many others according to Professor Ghassib have probably been the force inspiring more students to make PSUT their learning institution of choice.
