The talented rappers will also perform live in concert on Friday night, mixing hip-hop/rap beats with their own unique musical style. 'Army of One' has now become one of the hippest home-grown acts in the region and clearly this is a date not to be missed by their legions of fans.
Adam Taylor, Exhibition Director, Fusion 06 said, 'Army of One has a huge following and we are thrilled that they have agreed to open our event. The fact that they will perform live on Friday night as well certainly gives Fusion 06 some 'street cred'.'
In addition to 'Army of One', tonight music lovers can catch 'Leanne' a gifted R&B songstress with a repertoire that includes hard-hitting club tracks to moving ballads. 'Leanne' is no stranger to the big stage having supported the likes of Alicia Keys, Chante More and P Diddy. Following 'Leanne', DJ Charl Chaka will hit the decks with his unique mix of Deep-Funk-Tech to Afro-Tribal-House. On Saturday evening, the legendary 'Jabber' will be rapping his 'poetry in motion' infusing Arabic to Indian rhythms with his poignant words and slick MC style.
Other musical facets include free DJ Workshops where budding MCs can learn how to scratch and mix with a bit of 'ice and spice'. Daily drum jam sessions will be held for novices or naturals and for those more sedate music fans, the Motorolla Chillout Lounge will feature a wireless world of wonders, where a monster line-up of top DJs can be heard live in the privacy of your own Bluetooth.
Last but by no means least, fans of the 'Ford Fusion Stars' singing contest can check-out their favourites, as the competition reaches a climax with the semi-finals and final being held live on stage. On Saturday, the winner will be presented with the keys to a brand new Ford Focus.
Organisers IIR Middle East, are also hosting hundreds of exhibitors covering everything from fashion to technology and sports to music. A beacon for style-lead products and accessories, Fusion 06 will usher in a new era in retailing and branding in an interactive environment.

Fusion 06 is the first event of its kind in the region and aims to establish itself as the next generation lifestyle show for the Middle East.
'We are expecting more than 20,000 visitors over the next three days, so Fusion 06 promises to be an awesome weekend hang-out. Entrance is free, so get there early to avoid the queues,' added Taylor.
