Istithmar wants Crescent

Istithmar is in talks to buy US based real estate investment trust, the Crescent Real Estate Equities Company, reported Reuters. David Jackson, Istithmar's Executive Vice President of Investments, said that the two parties were in the early stages of talks. Jackson would not be drawn on a possible price for the deal and would not reveal which brokerage firm was representing Istithmar.
