The Ramadan Gift Baskets, which were distributed recently among the needy families of the Kingdom, was indeed well received. 80 Charity Funds within the various parts of the Kingdom came forward to support the project and their determined efforts ensured successful delivery of over 16,000 baskets. The disbursement that began on the 16th of September was completed on the 21st of September.

The Charity Funds have been a great resource of philanthropy. Batelco and Bahrain Charity Funds have been working closely on different donation projects, coinciding with the Holy Month of Ramadan.

"As the Nation's Telecommunications Company, Batelco understands the importance of wellbeing of needy citizens within the Kingdom", said Ahmed Al Janahi - General Manager, Corporate Affairs at Batelco

"At Batelco, caring is not merely at the business level but at the social level, too. This is a must and over the many years, we have been supporting various charity organisations. This we believe, not only brings joy to the families who deserve support, but also to us as a socially responsible organization," he added .
