UAE investors, $1bn in Europe

Investors from the UAE ploughed almost $1bn into the European hotel sector last year, according to Jones Lang LaSalle, the real estate investment and consulting firm, reported Gulf News. In 2006, the same level of investment was reached in just the first six months of the year, with UAE investors eyeing Asia as well as Europe.
