SAE purchases 10 Avid Media Composer Systems

In keeping with its promise to provide its students with the best and latest in terms of technology and resources, the SAE Institute, the world's largest & most renowned Audio Engineering, Animation and Film Institute has just purchased 10 Avid Media Composer systems.

The acquisition of these sophisticated applications provides SAE students with access to a more professional editing system and puts them in the lead in terms of their experiences with the most advanced technology. The Avid Media Composer Systems is an integral resource for the SAE Film Making Diploma Course. The applications have been installed in the institute's workstations and video post production areas.

The SAE Corporate Training Division also offers introduction courses on the highly developed use of the Avid Media Composer Systems.

Since their introduction, Avid Media Composer systems have set the standard for nonlinear film and video editing solutions.. Today, Avid offers Media Composer in a range of configurations designed to satisfy the creative and business needs of post professionals who strive to do more. The Avid Editing Systems, together with the already installed Final Cut editing suite, will expose SAE students to both the de facto standards in desktop editing solutions. Both systems will run on dual processors Mac G5.
