Combined strength of Mitel, HP ProCurve, Juniper and Infosys-Global to offer end-2-end, all-IP solution in KSA

The combined solution will be based on Mitel's award-winning IP telephony platforms, HP ProCurve's powerful data-infrastructure and Juniper's security expertise.

The implementation of Mitel's IP telephony platform is to be done by Mitel's Accredited channel partner, InfoSyS-Global, who is bringing their particular knowledge and local expertise to the project alongside a proven track record of implementing IP solutions for major customers.

The announcement was made on the back of the September 18th Converged Networks with Enhanced Security - event held at the Four Season's Hotel in Riyadh.

The event was heavily attended by the IT community of KSA and is but one of the many combined road shows that the 3 well established companies plan to attend in order showcase their combined end-to-end, all-IP solution for meeting the Kingdom's growing demands for IP services and communication solutions.

With its move towards a more liberalised telecommunications market and the latest announcements from the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information in early September regarding the drive to offer affordable Internet access to all regions of the Kingdom, alongside the planned online availability of more than 150 e-Government services by 2010, the Kingdom is experiencing a veritable wave of modernisation and innovation both in terms telecommunications infrastructure and services.

Mitel's established presence in Saudi Arabia has put the company on the forefront of this development, and the company is looking forward to expanding from its current position.
