Under the Patronage of Jordan's Consul in Dubai, Saraya Aqaba hosts a gala dinner, and sponsors 'Back to Business' event in Dubai

Saraya Aqaba hosted a private gala dinner for senior officials and Jordanian businessmen in UAE, on Wednesday, 20th of September 2006, under the patronage of Mr. Nayef Al-Zidan, Consul of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Dubai and in the presence of HE Mr. Nadir Dahabi, Chief Commissioner of Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA).

The event aimed at introducing Saraya Aqaba project, promoting its different facilities and the various residential units it has. Dr. Khalid Al-Wazani, General Manager of Saraya Aqaba, welcomed the attendees and highlighted the success Saraya Aqaba has achieved so far.

Dr. Wazani delivered a presentation focusing on Saraya Aqaba unique services, exclusive residential features, world-class lifestyle and the potential Aqaba has from investment point of view. Furthermore, Dr. Wazani commended ASEZA's role in providing the right investment environment in Aqaba by setting rules and regulations that serve the investors and facilitate their requirements.

Asteco - sole sales agent for Saraya Aqaba residential units - was present during the dinner; Andrew Chambers, Asteco CEO, presented the audience with an update on Saraya Aqaba sales and the reasons behind choosing Saraya Aqaba as a partner and Jordan, Aqaba as a location.

Asteco started sales of Grand Villas in May 2006, and sales of Apartments in June 2006. However, zones of apartments will be announced for sale in phases, and the townhouses will be announced soon. Up to date, 67% of grand villas were sold, 20% of villas, and 30% of apartments. (90%) of buyers are Jordanians, and that sales plans target other countries in the region, especially in the Gulf.

Dr. Wazani commented on the sales progress of the project saying: "The sale of the residential units is in continuous increase due to the unique characteristics it features, the competitive financing program, and the luxurious services it provides to its owners."

Saraya Aqaba's residential units are fully furnished, with interiors designed by the renowned KCA International, who designed the interior of Burj Al Arab, Madinat Jumeriah, and Intercontinental London, in addition to many. Furthermore, Grand Villas, Villas and the Water Park are managed by Jumeirah, who are well known for their premium services in Dubai and UK.

One day before Saraya Aqaba's Dinner Event, Saraya Aqaba sponsored and participated in 'Back to Business' event that was organized by the Jordanian Business Council in UAE. During the event, Dr. Wazani described the best practices implemented in Saraya Aqaba and the multiple features of its residential units.

Commenting on the importance of 'Back to Business', Dr. Al-Wazani said: "This networking event contributes to enhancing business relations between the participating countries. It is a good opportunity for business leaders to depict possible means of cooperation and to initiate new business deals, through exchanging ideas and sharing experiences."

He also added: "Saraya Aqaba benefits from the investment facilitations and the huge economic growth in Jordan. Such factors continue to contribute to attracting regional and international investors."
