Cheaper fuel on way

United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, September 26 - 2006 at 08:23

A cheaper and more 'environment friendly' petrol will be available in the UAE at Adnoc service stations from October, according to Gulf News. Called E-Plus, the Octane 91 fuel will sell for Dhs5.75 a gallon, compared to Dhs6.75 for Super and Dhs6.25 for Special. But other UAE petrol sellers say the move will affect sales of other fuels, which they are already selling at a loss.
