"The Middle East, Africa and the Subcontinent are enthusiastic adopters of new technology and strategic markets for BenQ," commented Robert Dung, managing director, BenQ Middle East and Africa.
"Expanding the channel business in these countries is an area of focus for us - getting the right channel in place is as important as getting the right devices. Com Valley Ltd has invaluable market knowledge as well as expertise on the services side; this will help us make inroads into our focus segments. Together, we will focus on delivering state of the art products and value-added services in the region."
BenQ is revolutionising its range of digital display technology and advanced projection systems and will launch a number of new models this year. The new product lineup will feature the company's proprietary Sense-Eye technology that dramatically improves picture quality.
Terming the partnership as an exciting opportunity, Tafazzal Hossain, managing director, Com Valley Ltd said: "The information technology (IT) market is booming and with technology changing all the time, it shows no signs of slowing. BenQ has transformed the IT segment and we are impressed with their product lineup and the support they offer us in terms of training and customer service support. We look forward to working with them."
"This year, we plan to increase our already substantial market share in the regional IT and consumer electronics segment. By introducing innovative, well-designed and affordable technology, we have been able to grow our business and are targeting a 25 per cent growth in sales this year," added Dung.
