Reputed organisations to sponsor Dubai Press Club Ramadan activities

Dubai Press Club (DPC) has announced the participation of prominent organizations which have come forward to sponsor the events being hosted at the Press Club during the month of Ramadan.
Mohammed Al Mansoori, Executive Director of Dubai Press Club said: "We are delighted that two highly reputed organizations - Dubai Properties and Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) are supporting us in hosting our Ramadan activities."
Hashim Al Dabal, CEO of Dubai Properties, said: "We are delighted to collaborate with Dubai Press Club for the second consecutive year as we believe that the media plays a vital role in decision making in many sectors."
He added, "Dubai Properties sponsorship of the holy month of Ramadan activities held at the Club is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility in supporting activities and events that involve different members of the community and strengthens our relationship with the media."
A weekly majlis and authentic heritage nights will mark DPC's dedication to Ramadan. Exclusive events for women will also be held with the support of Dubai Ladies Club, while an 'Open Day' will invite the media and its families to an informal gathering.
Nuha Mohammed Safar, Director of Marketing & Communication at Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry said, "We are pleased to participate in Dubai Press Club's Ramadan Activities. DPC has played a vital role in establishing Dubai as the centre of excellence for media at the regional and international level. This partnership with DPC is in line with DCCI's Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and reflects our commitment towards the members of media and the UAE community."
Dubai Press Club's activities this year will also include the Dubai International Backgammon Tournament, the first of its kind to be held in Dubai.
Uniquely Ramadan will be a hospitality tent on the expansive DPC terrace. Heritage nights in association with the Consulates in Dubai will showcase the customs and traditions of several countries.
A photojournalism exhibition featuring the works of talented photographers will also run throughout the month of Ramadan.
