New Internal Audit Manager joins Al Manaratain

Bahrain based construction company, Al Manaratain recently appointed Mr Akhil Mishra, as the new Internal Audit Manager for the company.

Mr Mishra will be responsible for the effective internal audit performance during all phases of the Company's operations including financial, operational, inventory, management and compliance audits.

A top ranking B.Com graduate from the University of Mumbai with a degree in Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a MBA in Finance, Mr Mishra brings with him rich work experience as an Audit Executive for six years with a Chartered Accountancy firm in India. He was also a member of the teaching faculty at the University of Mumbai for the same span where he taught various subjects of Finance, Audit and Taxation.

Mr Mishra was operating his own firm in India, providing consultancy services in the field of Accounts and Audit and was on the Board of Directors as an expert of a Co-Operative Bank in Mumbai, before he joined Al Manaratain Company recently.

"I am glad to have Mr Mishra on board with Al Manaratain since his background in the field of Auditing and experience comes from his personal practice of operating his own consultancy firm in India successfully and that was a key factor in his appointment as the Internal Audit Manager for Al Manaratain," said Mr Maisan Ali Alkhamiri, Managing Director, Al Manaratain.

Established in 1959 as a small manual block factory and crusher plant, Al Manaratain Company has grown from strength to strength. In January 2006, the organization, which has developed dynamically under the leadership of Chairman, Mr Ali Yusuf Hasan AlKhamiri and Managing Director, Mr Maisan Ali AlKhamiri, has renamed itself to Al Manaratain Company and Ali Al Shaab Group WLL.
