Charter business to double

Charter airline business in the Middle East will double by 2012, and be worth around $800m, Emirates Today reported. Chairman of the Middle East Business Aviation Association Ali Ahmad Al Naqbi says the business sector's share of the overall aviation market will grow to 40% from the current 20%. Saudi accounts for 50% of business aviation in the region, followed by the UAE at 20-30%.
