Al Ruwad Establishment and Arab Science and Technology Foundation sign MOU

Al Ruwad Establishment announced the signing of a key Memorandum of Understanding with the Arab Science and Technology Foundation today (Thursday 28th September 2006), to utilize both organizations' experience in using the latest technologies and to jointly cooperate towards the development of necessary qualifications and advanced skills for the UAE's growing economic sectors.

The agreement aims to provide investment opportunities and the financing of specialized projects and the organizing of scientific forums where ideas and experiences can be exchanged. Present at the signing was H.H. Sheikh Tariq bin Faisal Al Qassimi, President of Sharjah Economic Development Department and Chairman of Al Ruwad Establishment and Dr. Abdullah Abdul Aziz Al Najjar, Chairman of Arab Science and Technology Foundation.

On the occasion, H.H. Sheikh Tariq bin Faisal Al Qassimi, said: "Al Ruwad Establishment is a regional Arabic establishment that carries forth the vision of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member & Ruler of Sharjah, on social development and supporting the progress of youth, while developing highly qualified human resources to meet future economic and manpower requirements."

He added, "This Memorandum of Understanding with the reputed Arab Science and Technology Foundation is aimed to empower Al Ruwad Establishment with cutting-edge technologies, accurate scientific analyses and innovative ideas that can drive and propel the economy ahead."
