Etihad unaffected by A380 delays

  • United Arab Emirates: Sunday, October 01 - 2006 at 08:07

Etihad Airways is to receive two more Airbus aircraft this year, taking its fleet up to 24 according to Geert Boven, the acting CEO, cited in Gulf News. He added that delivery of four Airbus A380s was likely to be delayed by the technical problems surrounding the plane, but this wouldn't affect expansion plans. Etihad is also discussing a code share deal with an unnamed Far Eastern airline.
