Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), together with Lufthansa German Airlines has launched an innovative Miles&More promotion, giving members of Europe's leading frequent flyer program the chance to collect additional award miles over a two month period.

During the months of October and November, 2006, passengers travelling return on SWISS from Dubai to Zurich, and on Lufthansa from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Frankfurt and Munich, will collect 7,500 miles on First class, 5,000 miles on Business class and 2,500 miles on Economy class, per sector flown.

All Miles&More members registered in Oman, Bahrain, Doha, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE can avail of this offer, as well as registered members from the rest of the Middle East, Africa, Greece, Turkey and Pakistan.

Felix Rodel, Area Manager - Middle East and Africa, Swiss International Air Lines, said:

"With the start of the new season and the onset of Ramadan in the region, we realise this is a busy time of the year. We hope this mileage promotion will give travellers the incentive to visit loved ones and take shorts breaks, while simultaneously collecting a considerable number of additional award miles for future trips."
