Emirates gets bad news on A380
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, October 04 - 2006 at 06:08
Emirates says it "is reviewing all its options" after being advised by EADS of a further ten month delay in deliveries of the A380 superjumbo, according to the BBC. The airline is now unlikely to get the first of its 43 aircraft before August 2008, and is warning it could change its strategy. The $14bn project has been hamstrung by a series of construction delays, partly linked to wiring problems.
