Lloyds TSB was one of only two banks in the Middle East region to receive an Elite award - and by fractions of a percentage narrowly missed getting two of these, which no bank in the region has ever achieved.
Senior executives from JP Morgan Bahrain Colin Nutt, Vice President CEMEA Region and Ebrahim Mustafa, Vice President Treasury Services, presented the awards to Giles Cunningham, CEO Lloyds TSB Group Middle East and Tim Goddard, Head of Operations & IT, Lloyds TSB Dubai at a ceremony held at Lloyds TSB Dubai's main branch in Jumeirah.
Cunningham commented,
"We are thrilled to win the JP Morgan Elite Quality Award for the second successive year. Lloyds TSB Dubai is proud to be placed among the select few banks worldwide to have achieved this challenging global benchmark and won this prestigious recognition. In our endeavor to be the most recommended bank we have a 'customer first' approach which offers our customers the best quality global banking standards along with our superior customer service, innovative products and advanced efficient operational systems".
The JPMorgan Chase annual Quality Recognition Award was instituted in 1997 to recognise those clients who achieve a best-in-class level of operating excellence. The award has a rigorous selection process and with funds transfer clients having to demonstrate that they are able to meet the stringent criteria. Less than 1% of JP Morgan Chase's funds transfer clients are able to meet the selection criteria to qualify for this award.
