The Ramadan tent allows the Moslem community to break their fast, and the non Moslem students, faculty and staff to live the Ramadan Iftar experience.

Upon arrival to the university, His Highness was received by Dr Jihad Nader, Provost, Chief Academic officer, and was escorted on a tour of the university's premises. At the Ramadan tent His Highness was welcomed by a large crowd of students, faculty and staff.

AUD's Khaleeji Club, Presided by UAE national Mohammed Al Falassi, was set up to unite the students from the GCC countries with the purpose of introducing the AUD community to the culture, values, and tradition of the region. After Iftar, students engaged in discussions about the teachings of Islam and the moral and spiritual values that Moslems gain through their fasting and prayers.

The Khaleeji Club thanked HH Sheikh Mansoor for his patronage, his presence and his support for the clubs activities.

It is to be noted that the proceeds from the Iftar will all go to the Beit Al Khair Society destined to help the needy families.
