Eng. Maitha Mohammad Bin Adai, Chief Executive Officer, Traffic and Roads Agency said that the project which will begin in a few days will be finished within 420 days.
The 1185 hectares estimated project, includes about 7 km of secondary arterial roads, and 8.4 km of collector in addition to 46.6 kilometers of local roads in the zone 261 at Al Mohaisnah (1) and the zone 262 at Al Mozhir (1), as well as the implementation of the surface parking in both areas.
She added that this project is in the sequence of the RTA strategy to cope with the Dubai's construction, thus to meet the requirements of development and the continuous increase in the number of population in the Emirate. The project is among a number of others being implemented to improve the roads net work and to provide a better service in the residential areas.
