The designs are inspired by the symbols of light and values of love and relationship, the festival stands for.

Sampatti which means wealth in Sanskrit is symbolic of relationships which are the true wealth in one's life. It celebrates the true bond of love that holds a family together, especially that of a husband and wife and their relationship with other family members.

"Sampatti collection is a celebration of traditional festive sentiments expressed with the ultimate symbol of love - diamonds. Sampatti meaning true wealth symbolizes togetherness in a relationship and revolves around the woman as the centre of it. Our designers have been inspired by the rich Indian culture and traditions to create this new collection for our vast Indian consumer base in Asia, Middle East, North Africa and Europe", said Samit Bhatta, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Damas.

"Women are always at the centre of our offerings, after all it is they who make our jewellery look beautiful," added Bhatta.

The collection features five different designs- Mystic Jyoti, Prakriti, Samridhi, Maaya and Taare.

Mystic Jyoti draws its inspiration from 'jyoti' or lights that are an integral part of Diwali festivities since people decorate their homes with lamps and fireworks light up the sky.

Prakriti designs reverberate with the spirit of love so manifest during this season as people buy gifts to show their appreciation for friends and family. Delicate silhouettes and diamonds carefully placed along the inner edges, set this design apart and makes it an ideal gift of love invoking timeless memories.

Exclusive design, craftsmanship and the finest of diamonds combine to create Samridhi, a masterpiece that is unique in every way.

Maya which stands for 'imagination' draws its inspiration from all facets of the festival, leaving room for the beholder to draw his interpretations.

Think of Diwali and images of whirling, radiantly colourful firecrackers come to mind. This dynamic energy is captured in the Taare design which brings to life the swirls of traditional fireworks in circular shapes.

Apart from the new designs, Damas also have attractive offers on for the festive season till October 21, 2006.
