- PRESS RELEASE
In an effort to establish itself as a responsible corporate citizen, SAE Dubai has partnered with the Emirates Diving Association to produce the much awaited 2006 edition of the Clean Up Arabia Official Documentary.
Mr. Marco Bettelli, Managing Director SAE Asia Pacific and Middle East commented, "We are very content at being contributors to an event of such caliber. I think that teaming with the EDA in producing the official documentary on the Clean Up Arabia Event will offer the selected students invaluable experience and will also provide them with insight into the environmental issues that surround the region. Our involvement in such an event further proves our drive to be an active community player."
The main Clean Up Arabia Event which is scheduled for 11th November, 2006 and will begin in the East Coast of the country, in Fujeirah, is supported by UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) and is part of the Clean Up the World's Worldwide Campaign. Hence, it will be an internationally acclaimed environmental event and will set the stage for similar environment-conscience activity across the Middle East. The clean up will also be effective in the citites of Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaima in the UAE; Musandam, Oman as well as in Bahrain and Kuwait.
The Clean Up Arabia Event is expected to attract hundreds of divers from across the Emirates, who all share the passion for saving the environment.
