Emirates, $2.8bn Boeing deal

Boeing and Emirates have today finalised an order for ten 747-8 freighters. The freighters are valued at $2.8bn at list prices and were previously attributed to an unidentified customer on Boeing's orders and deliveries website. Emirates SkyCargo will receive its first delivery in 2010; the 747-8F has a payload capacity of 140 metric tonnes.
