HSBC makes seamless banking across countries a reality

Building on its global positioning of being 'the world's local bank', HSBC has now made seamless banking across countries, a reality for its Non-Resident Indian (NRI) customers based in the UAE.

HSBC today officially launched the 'OneWorld', a unique account package. Put together as a joint banking proposition by HSBC Bank Middle East Limited, UAE and HSBC India, the OneWorld Package offers the following benefits -

Mr. Niall S K Booker, Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, HSBC Bank Middle East Limited said: 'To extend the reach of our services, a dedicated NRI banking centre will be inaugurated today at the Business Centre on Khalid Bin Al Walid Street (Bank Street) in Dubai. The centre will provide personal financial services including remittances to India as well as NRI accounts and mortgages, establishing bank accounts in India and providing Rupee-based mortgages for property in India.'

Seventh Customer Service Centre in the UAE launched

Alongside the NRI banking centre, HSBC has opened its seventh Customer Service Centre in the UAE at the Business Centre on Khalid Bin Al Walid Street (Bank Street) in Dubai to serve customers from Saturday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. This Centre will be the first to have a dedicated Premier, Status, and HSBC Amanah area. It will be a one-stop-shop for personal banking customers to submit applications for new accounts, loans, credit cards, cheque books, Islamic financial solutions including HSBC Amanah current accounts, Charge Card and other products and services. Specialist advice can be arranged for investment, insurance, mortgage, offshore, and business banking. An Internet kiosk is also available for customers as well as an ATM.

'We are pleased to open our seventh Customer Service Centre in the UAE, and the fifth in Dubai. Our aim is to provide enhanced customer service to customers at their convenience. It is an extension to our delivery channels that include our branches, personal and corporate Internet banking and phone banking services,' said Niall S K Booker, Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, HSBC Bank Middle East Limited.

'A team of dedicated and experienced HSBC representatives are available to advise existing and potential customers on our full range of facilities. Customers will benefit from the flexible banking hours, and the convenience of high quality banking,' he added.

HSBC's other Customer Service Centres are located on Electra Steet and Musaffah Area in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai in Spinneys supermarkets located at the Mercato shopping mall in Jumeirah and on Trade Centre Road in Dubai as well as at Al Attar Business Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road and Ibn Battutah Mall, Andalusia court.
