Iran denies UAE gas deal

A senior Iranian oil official has said that the country is not set to provide gas to the UAE from Q1 next year under an agreement with Sharjah's Crescent Petroleum Company, reported Gulf News. Iran is holding out for a higher price for the fuel and talks are presently ongoing. The UAE will need extra gas supplies once power and industrial projects are commissioned.
