The Human Resources Department at the Jebel Ali Free Zone "Jafza" has joined the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
Adel Bin Turkeya, HR Vice President at Jafza, said, "Membership of ASTD is an integral part of our incessant quest for solutions that help in building real and meaningful development that starts with the individual, the biggest asset in any establishment.
"Joining the American Society for Training and Development would immensely benefit our employees because the Society enjoys the largest network of training experts around the world, especially in the US and Europe. The tailor-made program will help us get the best of the training courses with the highest standards possible.
"At the same time, we can benefit from the periodicals and scientific research papers, published by the Society regularly, containing the latest information in the sphere of human resource development.'
Salman Mohamed Al Shezawi, Training & Development Manager in Jafza's HR Department said, "I believe that among the reasons that drove us to seek this membership are the facilities they offer, such as consultations and professional enquiries.
